A Special Day - 1977

The movie is set during the 1930s: that the occasion could be the primary meeting between Hitler and Mussolini. Left alone in her tenement home once her husband that is fascist runs off to attend the historical occasion, Antonietta strikes a friendship with her neighbor Gabriele that is gay. Gabriele and Antonietta create a very special relationship that may radically alter both of their outlooks on life, as your day segues into night.
