Julian makes a living as an escort to ladies in the Los Angeles area. Without expecting any pay he also begins a romantic relationship with Michelle, a politician's wife. One of his clients is murdered and Detective Sunday begins pumping him for details on his different clients, some thing he is loath to accomplish thinking about the essence of his work. Julian begins to suspect he's being styled. Michelle begins to fall in love.
