As soon as an asteroid threatens to collide with Earth, the only way to prevent it would be to drill into its surface and detonate a bomb is determined by NASA honcho Dan Truman. It leads him to renowned driller Harry Stamper, that begs to helm the distance mission that is dangerous provided he could bring along their or her own hotshot team. Among them could be your cocksure A.J. that Harry believes isn't good enough for his daughter, before mission proves otherwise.

the movie never text me more cuz I'm a father and I love my daughter very much that I have to make sacrifice to knowing that she doesn't have a better life and we talk everyday and one day we're going to be back together

I love the movie but I always watch the first 10 minutes if you look at the twin towers at the end of the New York scene that's exactly the way we were hit and this movie was done two or three years before 9/11

even tho the meteorites survived the atmosphere and should have a much bigger impact, if they made that small of an impact they would be much smaller and weaker then any of the countries military weapons
