Autumn Sonata - 1978

After a seven-year absence, Charlotte Andergast journeys to Sweden to get back with her daughter Eva. The pair have a relationship that is troubled: Charlotte forfeited the responsibilities of motherhood for a career as a pianist. Within an night, the couple reopen the consequences of the past.
