It rains before the border, although an dare-devil intend to flee from GDR with a hot air balloon is attempted by two families. The Stasi starts investigations and finds traces of this endeavor to flee, as the two families are forced to develop a fresh escape balloon. With each passing day that the Stasi is closer in the heels.
