Battleground - 1949

The film concentrates on the camaraderie and the divisions between the troops as they ready for the offensive. Founded in a storyline that is rocky, the 101st's men wait out winter in the Ardennes forest in what would be the last major offensive of World War II to confront the German army. The men are demoralized and trapped, without the hope of support from the Allies.
