The Burlesque Lounge has behind it. Tessa warrior and owner of the venue, struggles to keep the theatre confronting a myriad of artistic and financial struggles. The great fortune has seemingly abandoned the club Using the troupe members of the Lounge becoming distracted by personal issues and a threat coming out of a wealthy businessman's quest to buy the area from Tess. Meanwhile, Ali's entire life, a small-town girl from Iowa, is about to improve dramatically. Inspired by Tess at the Lounge as a waitress, Ali escapes a past that is hollow and falls in love. Backed by friends amongst the theater's crew, she handles to satisfy her fantasies of being on stage herself. When Ali voice makes her become the main attraction of the venue, things take a dramatic twist.

I've loved it since i was little and my kids will too but it's it sad to say that I'm happy that she did keep all the money with her because i have the feeling that he would have stayed and waited for her and something else my have happened so either way she is a smart girl
