On the day the 15-year statute of limitations died on a high profile a family member of the victim strikes himself off the construction facing of Choi Hyeong-goo. 2 years later, a man named Lee Doo-seok publishes a book titled"I'm the Murderer" claiming responsibility for the murders that occurred 17 years ago. His book becomes a bestseller because of his depiction of this crime and the author appearances scene.
