The men of Bravo Company are facing a battle that is all uphill... up Hamburger Hill. Fourteen war-weary soldiers have been battling to get a mud-covered mound of earth so named because it chews up soldiers like chopped meat. They have been currently fighting for their fellow soldiers, their own country and their lifestyles. War is hell, but that is worse. Hamburger Hill tells it how it had been, the way it certainly had been. It's really a raw, gritty and totally unrelenting dramatic depiction of one of America's bloodiest war's fiercest conflicts. This happened. Hamburger Hill - war in its worst, men at their very best.

I first saw this movie when I was 8. I asked my mom why they were hurting eachother. she said to defend our country. that may be true. the other reasons are fear, hate and ignorance. The death and hate and ignorance is what makes me weep for this world and the people in it.
