Highlander: The Final Dimension - 1994

Starts off in the 15th century, with Connor McLeod (Christopher Lambert) practice with yet another immortal swordsman, the Japanese sorcerer Nakano (Mako). When an evil awakens named Kane (Mario Van Peebles) kills the older magician, the consequent conflict leaves him buried in a subterranean cave. When Kane re surfaces to create havoc, it's as much as McLeod to prevent him.
