Mandy Moore stars as Halley, a young hip high school student who is convinced love does not exist dependent on the relationships around her. Her mum is divorcing her daddy who is dating. A marriage is being planned by her crazed sister but has second thoughts and also her best friend has fallen in love for the very first time leaving Halley to feel much more alone.
