i just read y there is no part 2 and it's cuz the year this movie was made the production company DreamWorks made 2 other movies that flopped cowboys and aliens and fright night so it was a budget thing but there is 6 books this could have been bigger than harry potter

this movie is terrible, I love it. the only good character is Sam, I love him so much. the books aren't any better. I wish they would have made a 2nd one.
