John Carter is really actually just a war-weary, former military captain who's inexplicably transported to the mystical and exotic planet of Barsoom (Mars) and reluctantly becomes embroiled in an epic battle. It's really a universe on the edge of collapse, and Carter rediscovers his humanity if he realizes Barsoom's survival and its own people rests on his hands .

I do hope John Carter returns to the big screen soon again. The children of tomorrow need imagination, not gender reassignment.

kind of mindless, but that's Hollywood. who knew they speak English on Mars. Who knew they even referred themselves as Mars. Forget about a sequel this one bombed at the Box Office.

back in the first the movie when they were feeding the babies or whatever they were with that milk stuff she fed him and he all the sudden he can understand them and he they could understand him and speak their language it was something to do with that milk or whatever it was go

I've seen this couple times. it's a good sci-fi movie to watch. just like the movie Time Trap.
