Land of Mine - 2015

In the days after the surrender of Germany in May 1945, a group of young German prisoners of war were handed over to the Danish government and subsequently sent out to the West Coast, where they were arranged to eliminate the more than two thousand mines which the Germans had placed in the sand across the shore. With their hands the boys were made to execute the work under the direction of their sergeant, Carl Leopold Rasmussen.
