Ninja: Shadow of a Tear - 2013

Fight everybody else and hope it's the code of success after his lifetime of bliss is shattered by a savage act of violence practiced by master Casey Bowman. Vowing revenge, the American stealthily tracks the killer to Bangkok to Rangoon together with the help of a sensei. His only real clues: a series of sufferers whose necks bear the markers of strangulation by wire.
