An U.S. Spaceship lands on a desolate planet, stranding astronaut Taylor at a universe dominated by apes, 2000 years into the foreseeable future, that work with a primitive race of humans for experimentation and sport. One of the best movie ever!! Since it aired in 1968 in movies theaters everywhere, all thru to the 21st century in this app. Amazing!! It's still good to watch in 2023.

this is my 4th movie in chrono order. war is still my fav. this is so old it's like watching a play. it wasn't bad though for it's time. guess I'll watch the remake for bonus points before going to#5, it's not on the list
