Poor Cow - 1967

The first of many social Fact films by Ken Loach had less impact compared to those made since television playswith. Bad Cow follows the tangled lifetime span of Joy, that turns to Dave after her lover is convicted for thieving. She is left with a young child to maintain when Dave subsequently is imprisoned. If he goes missing, she sees what's vital.
