it's a smart move to flip the ransom to a reward. no matter what the kids life is in danger. and if the kidnappers really ment no games then they would have killed the kid the first time the dad f up. so the dad knew that the man desperately wants the money

my dad made my brother's and I watch this many y3ars ago when we were kids. because that day h3 found us talking to a stranger. this movie scared me so badly.
