Rio Grande - 1950

Lt. Col. Kirby Yorke is published to the Texas frontier to defend settlers against depredations of marauding Apaches. Col. Yorke is under considerable stress by way of a serious lack of troops of the control. Tension is added after Yorke's son (whom he hasn't seen in fifteen years), Trooper Jeff Yorke, is just one of 18 recruits sent into the regiment.
