40-year-old Bertrand is barely able to keep his head above water and has been suffering from depression for the previous couple of years. Despite the drugs he gulps down the encouragement of his wife, along with daily, daily, he's not able to locate any significance in his own life. By joining an all-male synchronised swimming team , curiously, he will end up finding this feeling of purpose at the children's pool.
