Throughout the reign of this shogun of the Tokugawa shogunate, the Yunagaya Domain at the Tohoku region is just a han. But a gold mine is there. Masaatsu Naito of all Yunagaya Domain receives an arrangement to Do Sankin-kotai within 5 days. Sankin-kotai is actually a habit that needs the daimyo to see the shogun in Edo. Alas, the period required to pay a visit to the shogun in Edo for Masaatsu Naito is just eight days. Masaatsu Naito learns because the golden mine is wanted by a top ranking government officer, he received the arrangement. Also, the trouble for Sankin-kotai is high and the Yunagaya Domain Name is a small han that it seems impossible to complete. Nevertheless, Masaatsu Naito begins an unexpected operation.
