In 2039's season, afterworld Wars destroy much of the civilization as we know it, territories are run by governments, but by corporations. The mightiest which is the Mishima Zaibatsu. In order to placate the masses with this dystopia, Mishima sponsors Tekken, a championship in which fighters struggle until just one is left standing.
