Germany. A deserter of the German military, soldier Willi Herold, stumbles into a uniform of captain left throughout the months of the Third Reich. Newly emboldened with the charm of a suit that he has stolen to stay hot, Willi finds that the leader, whoever he is will be followed by Germans.
