not often a sequels success is just as great or even surpasses it. Empire is the greatest star wars film made. it's one of the greatest films of all time. that's not an opinion it's a fact. damn good film

At the scene when Luke leaves Yoda's planet to go and help Han and Leia. Obi Wan says that boy is our last hope and Yoda replies, no there is another.
Obi Wan was there when the twins were born and decided to separate them for their safety.

So basically either he forgot about Luke's twin sister from the Clone Wars or somebody writing the script just made an error in the dialog.
