The King - 2017

Born into a poor family, Tae-su learns that power is the most important thing in life and decides to become a prosecutor, which was the biggest sign of power in the 1990s. After going to the best law school and experiencing democratic resistance in Korea, Tae-su finally achieves his goal of becoming a prosecutor, but his life isn't much better than that of a salary man. By chance, he joins a group of wealthy, powerful prosecutors. He finally gets a taste of what it's like to be at the top of the hierarchy, but as he enjoys the sweetness of being in charge, he also sees the cruel side of it.
