Titans is an prime time soap opera that debuted on NBC on October 4, 2000. Thirteen episodes were filmed, of which eleven were actually beamed. Produced by Aaron Spelling, the series was initially marketed as a"Dynasty for its new millennium," wanting to emulate the kind of Spelling's previous hit series. Low ratings led NBC to cancel the series until its very first season was completed.
