To Be or Not to Be - 1983

A poor Polish actor is trying to earn an income when Poland is occupied by the Germans in World War II. His wife gets the habit of interesting young polish officers while he is on stage, which is also a supply of melancholy to him. When one of her officers comes home on a Secret Mission, the actor takes control and comes up with a plan for them to escape. Picture of Ernst Lubitsch's 1942 comedy.
