Videodrome - 1983

Whilst a trashy television channel's president, Max Renn is desperate for programming to entice audiences. If he happens upon"Videodrome," a television show specializing in gratuitous punishment and torture, Max sees a possible hit and broadcasts the show on his channel. After his girlfriend auditions for your show and never returns, Max discovers as he ever thought, that the film violence might not be as fake and explores the truth.
