like this version better than tim Burton's, i remember reading the book in elementary i liked it so much my teacher at the time got the movie for me so the whole class can watch,i l think back and she was a good woman

Does anyone else realize just how terrifying this movie is? Don't get me wrong I love it and have since I was a kid but you have to admit it's flipping scary.

Anybody else think grandpa Joe and the others were just lazy moochers? Charlie gets a golden ticket and all of a sudden grandpa Joe miraculously gets up and about after 20 Years? Hmmm....
