A Bridge Too Far - 1977

A Bridge Too Far tells the story of Operation Market Garden, the attempt by the allies to finish the war quickly by allowing access over the Rhine and procuring three bridges at Holland. A blend of poor allied wisdom and also the presence of two crack German Panzer divisions meant that the last part of this surgery (the bridge in Arnhem OvertheRhine, the titular'bridge too far') was doomed to collapse.
