A couple of decades after the destruction of the Inca empire, a Spanish trip extends down to the Amazon river and leaves the hills of Peru. Soon, they come across amazing difficulties and Don Aguirre, a callous man who cares just about riches, becomes their own leader. However, will his pursuit lead them to"the golden city", or to certain destruction?
