Air America has been the CIA airline operating in Laos during the Vietnam War, conducting everything and anything to food stuffs for local villagers from soldiers. After losing his pilot's license, Billy Covington is recruited to it, and ends up inside the middle of gun running by his friend Gene Ryack a whole lot of pilots that were lunatic, and opium smuggling by his own superiors.

Robert Downey Jr's face whenever he realized all that heroin was just gone right from the under him was so believable it was almost as if he was struggling with addiction while filming this movie and his face really was feening and craving heroin

what an idiot n his guilty conscience.. those refugees look safe and sound for the time being he could come back for them later. wasn't like people were trying to shoot them.
