Brecht - 2019

Bertolt Brecht, a theater revolutionary, poet of this state, outsider, looks back on his life from 1956, the year of his passing, in East Berlin: from provocations in the Augsburg of their very first World War, to the early poetic and amorous height flights in Munich and Berlin in the 1920s, his escape from Hitler along with US exile, accompanied by his old age captured in a predicament between timeless classic and a failing GDR group fighter, an inflexible free man and a jeopardized Artist.
