Brief Encounter - 1945

Returning home from a shopping trip happenstance throws bored housewife Laura Jesson in an acquaintance with virtuous doctor Alec Harvey. Their friendship develops throughout their visits to some something fulfilling than either expected, and they must wrestle with the chaos their deepening relationship would have on their own lives and the lives.
