Curse of the Pink Panther - 1983

Inspector Clouseau disappears, and the Surete wants the planet's 2nd best detective to search for him personally. But, Clouseau's enemy, Dreyfus, rigs the Surete's computer to select, as an alternative, the world's WORST detective, NYPD Sgt. Clifton Sleigh. Sleigh bungles his way past assassins and corrupt officials though he were Clouseau cousin.
