Michel, who is mad about jazz, has merely discovered a record that he dreams of listening to. But the planet appears to have discriminated against him: his wife chooses this moment to disclose an illtimed revelation, his mature son may make a surprise visit, one among his friends collapses on the door, while his mother keeps calling him. Not to say that the residents in his apartment building are holding their House Party. A liar and manipulative, Michel is able to do anything to have an instant of silent and serenity. Is it possible, in this era, to just have an hour of calmness?
