Desperate to get back at the top, partnership capitalist Joel meets Nicolaus and Lester, entrepreneurs seeking investors for Empathy, Inc., also a digital reality start-up providing moving and realistic experiences for users by setting them at the lives of the less fortunate. Joel gets the startup its capital finds the technician's founders have a far more insidious agenda.
