Frankie and Johnny - 1991

He quickly lands a job at a New York diner as a short-order cook when Johnny is discharged from prison after a forgery charge. After a brief fling with waitress Cora, Frankie develops an attraction for the friend and fellow waitress Frankie of Cora.
