His Girl Friday - 1940

Hildy, the journalist wife of newspaper editor Walter Burns, visits his office to inform him that she's engaged and will be getting re married the next moment. Walter can't let this happen and frames that the fiancé, Bruce Baldwin, to get one thing after another, in to returning as his employee, while attempting to steer Hildy to maintain him held in prison.
