With the impending ice age almost up on them, a mismatched trio of creatures -- Diego the sabertoothed tiger Manny the woolly mammoth along with Sid the giant sloth -- find the orphaned infant and opt to return it into its parents. Along the way, the allies become friends however when enemies attack, their quest takes on much nobler aims.

How come there was only one woman in this movie and she died? Now there are nothing but guys. So how do they make more babies? Why would they kill off the only female?
