Isoken - 2017

Everybody in the Osayande family worries Concerning Isoken. Although she has what appears like a perfect life - beautiful, successful and surrounded by great family members and friends - Isoken is unmarried at 3-4 which, at a culture obsessed with marriage, is cause for concern. Things come to a head at her youngest sister's marriage after her mother thrusts her into an orchestrated match making Osaze, with the Edo person. Osaze is handsome, successful and by a fantastic family, making him the ideal Nigerian husband's material. However, in an unexpected twist of events, Isoken matches with Kevin who she discovers herself falling deeply in love together and he just could be exactly what she wants in a partner. The only problem is, not only is he not an Edo person, but he is Oyinbo (Caucasian). Isoken is a romantic dramedy that explores the bonds that unite families at a way that is comedic, dramatic and touching stereotypes as well as expectations.
