Kagemusha - 1980

Akira Kurosawa's lauded epic gifts the tale of a little burglar who's recruited to impersonate an warlord, Shingen, in order to prevent strikes by competing clans. His generals accept own the impostor simply take over as the ruler, when Shingen expires. He soon begins to love life but his commitment to the role will be analyzed when he needs to lead his troops to battle against the forces of a warlord.
