Kicking Off - 2016

Kicking Off starts with the season's game. Fans Wigsy and Cliff watch in trepidation score the goal that will save them. Victory is bliss as being a chorus of fans chant and cry with elation. As the deciding goal is disallowed by the referee this frenzy of enjoyment quickly turns ugly. Together with adrenalin running and fists pumping, their own hearts and fury rushing through their bloodstream, the fans simply take matters in their own hands and Cliff creates the mistake of planning while drunk. Wigsy, a confirmed idiot, follows with the said plan and in the darkest hours of the night he commits a crime that'll lead to catastrophe and chaos for him personally and his very best mate Cliff. Kicking Away is filmed with split screen shots and slowmotion montages. The characters are thugs who will leave you laughing and grimacing in their lack of sense. The game just got awful.
