Twenty years later school, a group of faculty friends convenes a weekend for a bridal shower for a few. Cait, her freshman year roommate along with joss and best friend in college, were estranged for years, ever since Joss learned that her fiancé was seeing Cait. She dies before she could explain, although as part of a recovery program, Cait would like to produce Joss. Was her death an collision, a suicide, or even something more sinister?
