Little Voice - 1998

After the death of her daddy, LV or Little Voice becomes a recluse, never going outside and scarcely ever saying a sentence. She sits in her bedroom listening to her father's collection of older records of various other female singers, Marilyn Monroe and Shirley Bassey. But through the night , LV sings, imitating these singers. One night she is overheard by one of her mum's boyfriends, that appears to be an art agent. Several problems arise, although he arranges for her to do at the nearby night club and also manages to convince her talent is both special.
