Missie's surprise pregnancy lays her onto a brand new class that is both frightening and exciting. After all of the planning and dreaming, she along with her husband, Willie, have headed west in a wagon, leaving the dwelling of Missie's parents. Now, captured between the delight of the brand new experience and also the annoyance of not knowing when she will visit her family again, the struggles are coped with by Missie, and cherishes the rewards, of her new homestead.
