Hannah and tom have already been friends for 10 decades. He is a serial dater, while still she wants marriage but hasn't found Mr. Right. Hannah gets engaged As Tom is currently starting to think that he is dating material afterall. If she asks Tom to be her'maid' of honor, he agrees so they can attempt to block the marriage and dazzle her.
