After completing law school, Ellen Plainview is now currently looking forward to spending some time with her seventeen-year-old daughter. But when Julie is charged with the murder of her teacher she was supposed to be having an affair with, Ellen stops at nothing to clear her kid's name, even though evidence which seems to point out the remorse of Julie.
