Night Has a Thousand Eyes - 1948

When heiress Jean Courtland tries to kill herself, her fiance, Elliott Carson, looks into how she knows John Triton. In a flashback, we see how Triton, a stage mind reader, starts to have scary glimpses of real precognition. Whitney Courtland, his partner, uses Triton's skill to make money, but Triton's inability to stop what he sees happening makes him quit the act and live alone. Years later, Triton has new dreams and tries very hard to stop terrible things from happening to the Courtland family. Can his warnings work when people don't trust him, don't believe him, and don't want to listen?
