Old Gringo - 1989

When faculty teacher Harriet Winslow proceeds to Mexico to teach, she's kidnapped by Gen. Tomas Arroyo and his revolutionaries. An aging American, Ambrose"Old Gringo" Bierce also in Mexico, befriends Gen. Arroyo and fulfills Harriet. Bierce is so he can determine his or her own fate, wants to maintain his identity confidential. Bierce attempts to provoke the overall's anger you can in a endeavor to have himself murdered avoiding suffering through his illness though he likes Arroyo. Both Bierce and Arroyo intrigues winslow, and the men are in turn drawn for her. She becomes involved with Arroyo.
